When those who took a vow of service identify predatory taker energy in people who can’t be helped, because they don’t want it, you get the real story. That no one here will hear. Even with the correct terminology.

They just have to give them an excuse, like suggesting that greater free speech is fascism, greater access to guns is fascism, and expecting someone who wants to wield the power of a senate position should perhaps be responsible for being honest about the condition of his brain, a servant of the people rather than served by the people.
In other words, creating an alternate reality for these people is not hard at all, and the ones you describe as "dumb" know this.
