The Culture of Toddler Discourse
Tucker Carlson is, of course, one of history’s greatest monsters. Here’s a paragraph from a recent New York Times story about Senator John Fetterman, explaining exactly why:
The attacks during the campaign — Fox News’ Tucker Carlson called him “unapologetically brain damaged” and Republicans accused him of lying about his health — also are never far out of mind. Some of those aspersions continue; the Republican National Committee blasted out a clip earlier this month of Mr. Fetterman tripping over the word “water” at an event announcing $340 million in federal funding for Philadelphia to modernize its water infrastructure. On Thursday night, Mr. Carlson was back to attacking Mr. Fetterman’s health even as he recuperated in the hospital. “Sad, but also, you wonder, what is going on?” Mr. Carlson said.
So poor John Fetterman is the victim of an endless series of far-right attacks and aspersions, as the monsters outrageously claim that he has health problems and brain damage. Also, from the very same New York Times story:
The most evident disability is a neurological condition that impairs his hearing. Mr. Fetterman suffers from auditory processing issues, forcing him to rely primarily on a tablet to transcribe what is being said to him. The hearing issues are inconsistent; they often get worse when he is in a stressful or unfamiliar situation. When it’s bad, Mr. Fetterman has described it as trying to make out the muffled voice of the teacher in the “Peanuts” cartoon, whose words could never be deciphered.
1.) Carlson cast aspersions by claiming he has health problems and brain damage
2.) AKSHULLY, he has a severe disability caused by a neurological condition
Those claims appear essentially back-to-back, in a story that depicts cruel statements about Fetterman’s health as political attacks in the same sentence that says he’s IN THE FUCKING HOSPITAL. It’s a vicious attack to suggest that someone who recently had a stroke and is now in the hospital (at the time the article was written) might be unwell. It’s an aspersion to — checks text of story — show a video clip of something John Fetterman actually said. Vicious conspiracy theorists claim that dog held at local animal shelter is in dog pound, news at 11:00.
Joining the list of people who are Literally Adolf Hitler, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis supports a measure in the state legislature to allow people in the state to carry firearms without a permit. A maneuver to reduce government power and increase individual rights, explains freshman Florida congressman Maxwell Frost, is “fascism.”
For sure, less government and more individual autonomy is exactly what famous libertarians like Hitler, Mussolini, and Franco argued for.
Meanwhile, during the week in which former Twitter executives testified at length about the collaboration between national security agencies and a private corporation to silence dissent, the very smart NYU professor Ruth Ben-Ghiat explains that Elon Musk, who is working to re-establish an open discourse at Twitter, is — guess what word you’re about to see again — a “fascist troll.”
Fascism is reducing corporate-state repression and allowing open discussion.

Never mind also that the leftist dingbats are blithely giving a hundred billion plus dollars and advanced weapons to Ukraine which has thousands of Nazis fighting under its military command. And never mind that they left 80 billion dollars of our weapons in the hands of the theofascist Taliban when we ran away from that protracted military debacle. Or that they’ve all been bought off (elite capture-merger) by the totalitarians in Beijing who harvest organs from Christians, mass incarcerate Uyghurs, and execute more people every year than any other country by far. No Chris, it’s people like you and Tucker and Steve Bannon, who use fascist terms like “ first amendment” and “rule of law” that are the real fascists.
