I agree cousin! There is so much sh*t going on that the “regular” people don’t even know about. So much is hidden. Even my husband was deployed to the desert, they were told to “blend in.” Really?!?! It’s a scary time. I often wonder about what it will be like when our children are older. I’m honestly scared for them. I have to keep faith that we raised them the best we could and they can’t “put a blind eye” to what’s really going on. I love reading your articles and I give you props for your honesty! Keep spreading the word! Maybe, just MAYBE, it will get through to someone and they’ll see what’s ACTUALLY going on!

100M Americans own 440M guns. There’s only so far the populace will be abused before they stand up for “the security of a free State.” I hope our descendants will take a stand, and not a knee.

And they never do anything with their “assault weapons “ Why aren’t all the weaponised patriots descending on these clowns/ thugs and letting them have it with some righteous justice ??

As I commented under one of Chris‘ other columns:

“The problem is that almost everyone in our society requires ‘permission’ to commit violence. In general, this GREATLY improves society and the efficiency of the economy. There are very few people who are capable and prepared to deal with the small fraction of society who are violent criminals.”

That goes double or triple for shooting at police & soldiers. We honor them for their service, and the idea that they’d have become unwitting enemies of the People is unfathomable without visual proof. Gun owners know that taking on the government with force is the Way of the Outlaw, and you will have to abandon everything you’ve spent your life working for. It is the last resort before slavery or destruction.

It took Germans 4-5 years after Hitler became Chancellor to get serious about assassinating him. Almost all the failures went to the guillotine.

Reminds me of David Koresh. He went into town several times a week and could have been arrested any one of those times instead of setting innocent women and children on fire at the compound.

The Sedition Act was passed in 1798 (under Washington) making it a crime to criticize the government. The Federalists (predecessors of modern Democrats) strongly supported it and put numerous opponents in prison.

The voters detested the Sedition Act, and led to Jefferson’s el. election in 1800, and ultimately to the collapse of the Federalists.

If modern Republicans can get their heads out their disorganized asses, perhaps we can do the same to the Democrats.

You’re absolutely right. I misread the dates. My bad.

Nah, the Democratic-Republican party was the forerunner to both the Democrats AND the Republicans; the Federalists were opposed to war on general principle and ceased to exist shortly after the war of 1812.

Expand full comment

If you compare the platforms of the Federalists and the post-FDR Democrats, there’s a 1:1 correlation. What makes you think the former Federalists just died out and didn’t join the DR’s? (They did.) The modern Republicans split from the Whigs in 1854, which in turn had been formed in 1824 by conservatives leaving the DRs.

Arresting Koresh peacefully wouldn't have made for days and days of must-see TV, and we all know that's what matters. If people die in service to propaganda, oh well, it's the big picture that counts, right? Besides, it's important for the government to show how serious it is about keeping all of us safe, as long as the perp is the right color.

It is absolutely disgusting what the US Justice Department has done to the people who participated in January 6th. This type of theatre is no doubt a warning to any others who plan to protest any other election outcome if the Democrats win. It is not unlike how the Trudeau government here went after the Freedom Convoy. Two of the primary targets Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, so called organizers are right now on trial for various 'mischief charges'. I have sat in on a lot of if and it is ridiculous, and obvious the prosecutor or Crown as we call them here doesn't have a case. So far we have wasted 22 days of their time and thousands if not millions in taxpayer dollars on this nonsense. As they say the process is the punishment. Fortunately both of these people have generous crowdfunding resources helping to pay their very hefty legal fees. Worse yet, there are four men who have been sitting in jail for over 600 days, who have yet to be convicted of any crime. They have become known as the Coutts Four in the very small circle of people following their plight. They were arrested after raids were conducted at the border blockade protest that occurred in support of the Freedom Convoy in the border town of Coutts Alberta. The RCMP arrested them on trumped up charges of conspiracy to murder police officers. It is a long a convoluded story that points to some very serious nefarious actions on the part o the Trudeau government and our federal police the RCMP. I have written at length on this in my Substack. https://roxannehalverson.substack.com/p/new-documents-reveal-more-government

These men are being house in remand centres that are not set up for long term prisoners. They do not have access to daily exercise times, they do not have access to other anemities offered in most prisons to inmates such as education, libraries, internet access. And they have yet to even be convicted of a crime. They have often been held in solitary confinement, health concerns have not been addressed, they were forbidden to communicate with familty members for the longest time. All of them have families and children they have not seen. Their trial has been stalled by bad faith action on the part of the Crown including late disclosure, and what might even be seen as prosecutorial misconduct.

https://roxannehalverson.substack.com/p/possible-prosecutorial-misconduct

Conduct like this on the part of the Trudeau government is clearly a message to any who protest its policies, they will pay a price. Not so different from what the Biden administration has done to the January 6th participants, some of who did nothing more than attend the protest.

The western federal governments are desperate for excuses to continue to seize more and more power. They wanted an “insurrection” so they could clamp down hard on their political opponents with little pushback from the public. They want to make scenes of “dangerous fugitives on the run” cause this gives them more and more leverage for more and more power grabs.

Meanwhile, they go after your kids through the institutions. Severe the bonds of a family, and break and burn their culture. Tell them they have no culture, they only steal from others.

Talk to your kids. Turn off the TV’s. Don’t comply. Say no. Stay peaceful but firm. Assert your rights. We need to start organizing all over North America to resist, get them out, and then try them for treason.

What is truly amazing is that our law enforcement agencies hire lower and lower IQ individuals because no one with any sense wants to be a part of that. My local police are offering bonuses to people who can pass the testing process and actually accept the job. The turn out for the test has dropped to the point where 25% of the candidates who actually qualify is a number smaller than they need to replace the retirees and flat out quitters. Outsmarting people of that caliber is not difficult, as can be observed in the skyrocketing number of unsolved crimes in this country.

No one is coming to save you. You must be ready and armed to protect yourself. Especially from the government.

Expand full comment

Government wants, at best, LEOs with average IQ.

There was a court case out east about a decade ago where a man who tested with a 125 IQ was unable to find employment as a police officer. They want their enforcers to be just smart enough to perform their duties and nothing more. God forbid an intelligent freethinker should slip through the cracks and ponder the legality and righteousness of the task laid before him by our "public servants." Even worse, what if he talks to other officers and convinces them of his reticence in following orders.

Expand full comment

Yup, can confirm that this is universal: police selects for compliance and obedience, not dilligence and duty.

In Sweden, they use the same intelligence-test as does the military, which tests for not only IQ but social stuff as well. A total under 4 (normal/average) on a nine digit scale indicates mental retardation; the higher scores indicates above-average/normal aptitude and intelligence in various ways.

For police, a 3 is enough.

This was the lead story on the WABC NYC 5:00 p.m. news last evening. Residents were urged to shelter in place while authorities searched for the "January 6th Insurrectionist." This is no longer funny. Hemingway's line from The Sun Also Rises, much used by pundits, "How did you go bankrupt/" "Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly" is happening regarding our basic freedoms. The State's need for power is insatiable and corporate media is a willing partner. The Department of Justice has become the Department of Injustice. The January 6th Insurrectionist is the 21st century Emmanuel Goldstein. Orwell knew.

Yet Ray Epps managed to hide in plain sight for almost as long. No SWAT teams or FBI agents in camo were required to issue him the equivalent of a parking ticket. As late as September this year ABC characterized him as a victim of a Jan 6 conspiracy theory, though there is video of him repeatedly, overtly inciting people to breach the Capitol. Old news now, I know, but compare and contrast. This basterdization of justice is one of the greatest tragedies to befall the country in my nearly seventy years of life, as it signals the end of the USA that I pledged allegiance to nearly every day as a kid. It is gone, apparently, like my youth, though I believe I'm aging much better than Uncle Sam.

I am terribly disappointed in the lack of diversity among the local, state, and federal nazis, uh, I mean law enforcement shown in the news clip. There were no people of color and zero people with vaginas. And definitely not one person of unusual hair color (PUHC). I could just cry. Or maybe go outside and scream at the sky. This dangerous criminal might have a kitchen fork or even a can of hairspray with him ... even though the fear-mongering mayor says the obviously law-abiding resident who has zero criminal background is not a danger to anyone anywhere.

Joking aside, I’m fearful -- for that poor guy running for his life because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time three years ago, doing nothing criminal and hurting no one. 🙁
