Look, the important thing isn't the cost. The important thing is that we've now established a lifeline for Gaza, and our continuing efforts in utilizing this pier will more than make up for whatever monetary cost we incurred building it.

Hold on, I'm getting word.........

It may say non-partisan IG's office... but we all know Orange Hitler had his little Hegseth / Eichmann minion write the whole thing. He's weaponizing the govt to discredit Biden the Beatified and imprison Holy Saint Fauci. And he's doing it on the backs of poor, oppressed women who just want to serve their country. Look at Admiral Rachel Levine! A woman can command a battalion or fire an M-16 or launch an ICBM, whether she has a penis or not. Transgenders soldiers are Trump's Reichstag fire.

(Yes, it's satire. I have to explicitly say that because the Left is so crazy that some of them really might say something like this.)

Current military leadership are self important clowns. I still cannot believe that not one single flag officer had the decency to resign after the fiasco that was the Afghanistan pullout. Any junior officer and certainly an NCO that presided over anything similar would’ve been swiftly relieved of command, if not discharged. They are shaming the entire military.

Bro, at the company/battalion level, we'd have to have people on suicide watch for that degree of criminal negligence. Hegseth and team need to order O7-O10 that served from 2004-now for a 'struggle session' to see who rats who out--and then court martial for probably 75% of them. Conduct unbecoming for one. False official statements. Cowardice. Makes my blood boil.

You know, my comment on an unrelated disaster - the elementary school shooting in TX, where the cops stood around outside making sure no one else tried to save children and take down the shooter - was that if I was one of those guys, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I'd just go home and eat a bullet for dinner. You might note that not one of them did, because they had no sense of shame, no sense of duty, no sense of honor. If a few cops in TX are infected with that, how can you believe most of our military isn't?

Similar story in a May 2023 report from the Inspector General on "Maintenance Concerns for the Army’s Prepositioned Stock–5 Equipment Designated for Ukraine":

https://www.dodig.mil/reports.html/Article/3407150/management-advisory-maintenance-concerns-for-the-armys-prepositioned-stock5-equ/

The summary says: "We found that 25 of 29 M1167 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles and all six M777 howitzers were not mission ready and required repairs before the U.S. European Command could transfer the equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces."

I had to walk away from this article for a second. I had forgotten about this other international demonstration of shitshow incompetence, makes me want to hurl.

What really made me get up and walk away is knowing that half of the officers I know, field grade and some GOs, still think Hegseth should resign/get fired for...wearing a flag as the lining of his suit...not being the most insanely perverse communication nazi about texts, about firing Generals, stopping DEI--and yet I heard nothing from any of them during:

o leaving Bagram in middle of night, POTUS wouldn't even return UK Prime Minister calls for over 72 hours

o 13 Marines killed--even though intel knew a bomber was enroute.

o $85 Billion given to Taliban

o SecDef wearing two masks (it shows cowardice and complete & utter capture)

o SecDef going AWOL

o Putin invades Ukraine

o Hamas attack

...and of course the pier collapse.

For the mil crowd subscribed to Chris, here are some great X follows BTW: @infantrydort

@CynicalPublius @usmc_colonel @BuzzPatterson @DaleStarkA10

I wonder if/when my former colleagues, now frenemies, will admit (praying we do turn the corner) that Trump, Hegseth and team were correct?

Maybe if our armed forces leadership had been more focused on operational issues and less obsessed with social issues (like Milley's desire to "understand white rage"), these debacles would be less frequent...just maybe.

What Hegseth should have said is "Wokeness equals weakness"...or perhaps "Wokeness equals brokeness!"

Mark Skidmore at Michigan State University, found $21 trillion in unauthorized spending in the departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development for the years 1998-2015. Knowing that, a few billion to crash piers into each other in Gaza seems almost trivial.

Almost…

I read that USAID was the main funder of "aid" that was going to Hamas...err the Gazans. Out of something like 1.5 million people they intended to feed over three months, they only fed about 450,000 for roughly 20 days before parts of the pier went on a tour of the Gaza waterfront. Democrats should never be in control of our country or military ever again. They are dangerous and shameless ideologues, not leaders or free thinkers.

You saw it immediately Chris. Time is short. This report is like a red flag to the Taiwanese: do you want to bet your country and life on these guys? Everything the Dem/Globalist regime did/does plays into the hands of the CCP; this is one more example (along with Climate Change requiring Chinese technology, University-devouring Critical Studies/DEI funded by CCP, Qatar, etc, Offshoring critical industries, etc. Can Trump, Hegseth, Vance, et al turn it around? Not if Dems/Resistance has their way.
