Hey, please send it anyway, with Thank you! hand written on the envelope and letter. Doesn't hurt to reinforce their action with a supportive message. A stamp well spent, and a letter well worth writing and sending. Kudos.
Great news!!! Some of Trump's promises were effectuated a day or two late. It is hard do some things without cabinet members. The Pam Bondi countdown from her 30 hours of debate is sometime Monday, I think. Thune needs to keep these stonewalling Democrats in DC for weeks until they surrender on their insistence on the 30 hours of debate.
He needs to keep the Senate in session day and night so the Dems can't even go home to shower, and dare not leave the Senate floor lest Republicans get an opportunity to screw over their obstructionism.
In retrospect it's probably a blessing that he "lost"
If he won reelection in 2020, his second term would be bogged down with treacherous and disloyal advisors and lawfare from both Republicans and Democrats.
In this way Biden will be known for two things:
being the worst president ever and the president nobody will be able to remember in between a president nobody will ever forget
As painful as he was, we need to remember Biden forever. He's an object lesson about just how bad things can become when government becomes too big and the People feel too little.
You're kidding. I agree with him on the header identity nonsense, but everything else he's doing is our worst nightmare.
For starters, his horrible policies regarding undocumented immigrants. What abuse of millions of extremely hardworking people our country is utterly dependent on for food, construction, forestry, health workers and home health aides, landscapers, and housekeepers: jobs that Americans won't take. Have you read the latest news this week on how suddenly, a large percent of California ag workers stopped showing up for work starting the day after the inauguration? In counties known as "the nation's breadbasket" and "salad bowl," which will cause food prices to sky rocket, and a recession? Not to mention how it will tear people's lives and families apart?
And what about Trump’s imperialism, which will make the world once again hate us, but even more?
And his flagrant oil greed and zeal to destroy the climate as fast qnd as much as possible? And take our ecological fragile coastline with it.
As much as I detest Biden and Dem politicians regarding gender and destroying lesbian girl's bodies, in every other regard, Trump is our worst nightmare.
That trope about how America NEEDS millions of undocumented (and unvetted) illegal aliens to "do the jobs Americans won't do" is utter nonsense.
Who do you think did those jobs before? Americans. And LEGAL immigrants.
Your other point about oil "destroying the climate" is also nonsense.
Oil is one of the most abundant resources we have.
CO2 is necessary for all life.
If you want to talk about destruction, talk about a Club of Rome climate hoax to enrich the wealthy, deindustrialize and negatively impact the rest of us, and destroy ocean and terrestrial habitats with technology that was always going to fail, to fix a problem that never existed.
"... in N. California" may be the explanation for why you don't know what you are talking about, and your terminology "undocumented immigrants" shows that you're part of the problem. I will do those jobs that you say Americans won't take, but have trouble finding work because there are so many illegals in the "underground" job market. And then there are those that don't work, preferring robbery, murder, theft and rape to a "9 to 5" deal. It's a huge problem, and got much worse under Biden. It may sound like hyperbole to you in N. California, but I'm in America, and living with the absolute and total failure of our government.
I am glad it is yanked. But, actually, the security detail was yanked by Biden on September 30 as the new budget cycle began. Fauci has actually been using his own security (he has millions of $$) for quite a while. So Trump getting the "blame"/credit for something that was actually already instituted when he took office. Does not matter much, but facts are facts.
I like Fauci, and am extremely grateful for the Covid vaccine saving so many lives, given the horrendous number of people who died from that pandemic. I eapecially think he needs security protection given all the gun-toting people who don't understand the pandemic and seem to simply ignore the horrific death toll that was stopped by the vaccines and stay at home orders.
You can only call the White House for four hours a day, three days a week? Who did they have manning the phones, Sleepy Joe himself? That sounds a lot like his schedule when he was in the White House.
King Trump could care less what we or anyone else thinks. He only said what would get him elected. Now that he's won, he's going to run his own agenda. Knowing him, he'll probably cut the White House public comment line staff and answering machine entirely. He doesn't want our input interfering with his greedy, bigoted plans.
I would like to advise anyone reading this to keep a book of postcard stamps, which you can get at any post office, and buy postcards when you go to interesting places. Then you can send them to your friends and family. People love receiving postcards, all the more in this digital age. It is a permanent physical reminder that you were thinking of them!
Anyway since I already had all that stuff handy, sure, I've written a postcard insisting that they pardon Ethan Haim. I'll drop in the postbox next time I go outside. Not only will they know that we're paying attention, but they'll also have this great postcard of rhinos at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Lol. I love hearing about the rhinos at the zoo card! And thank you for your message about postcards. I think they're a great way to communicate with politicians (and I love your idea about using them to communicate with friends. Thank you.) I agree, they're refreshing and thoughtful. Plus cards are more likely to stay on someone's desk, especially if they include praise for a job well done.
My father kept a stack of prepaid post office postcards on his desk, with a mailing address list of his elected officials, from U.S President to local dog catcher. Whenever he heard on the news about a political issue or bill he cared about, he'd go to his desk, grab a postcard or two, and write a one sentence message, such as, "No on SB 132: no men in women's prisons," sign, date it, and walk it to the mailbox. Done.
Postcaeds are a great way to express one's opinion to politiciabs
politicians. I'm glad Erin suggested it. A great way to get heard. No need to elaborate on the issue. Experts can do that.
Politicians really just need a tally of how many constituents agree or disagree with a bill. A quick, one-sentence, yes or no postcard does the job (with the bill number or topic), easily and rather elegantly in its simplicity.
I will definitely call and I will say what they are doing to that Dr is horrific.
It used to be common sense to hate going through puberty and be confused and now it’s well maybe you’re supposed to be the other sex, which is utterly utterly insane..
I refuse to go along with the insanity. If you wanna find something else, that is insane read the story about Jeff younger, it’s another insane story about the transgender craziness!
Thanks. I'm going to look up Jeff Younger. I'm starting a YouTube playlist of short detransitioner videos, to show to people offline. I'm planning to attend our local monthly Democratic Party dinner meetings, and share those detransitioner videos with whomever I'm chatting. To find out who the sympathetic or questioning local Dems are, to be able to work with them, to meet with local electeds. And I also will include Lesbian United videos, on how this is mostly an attack on lesbian--or future lesbian--girls.
I'm wondering if Jeff Younger's is a detransitioner story?
Dismissed!!! But he still has mountains of legal bills. You can donate below. I did, and I encourage all my fellow physicians here to do so, as well. You know what kind of hospital bullshit this kid had to endure.
Could someone explain to me how in a "red" state, where a hospital is violating state law, and a person brings that violation of state law to the attention of the public, that person is charged with Federal crimes? I'm not talking about State vs. Federal. I don't see any crime here. If anything his 1st Amendment rights were violated. How the hell did this happen?
Lot of that going around, though. The FACE Act prosecutions happened in a lot of red zones, and aggressively disregarded the First Amendment. A lawless DOJ.
Judge's order to dismiss just posted on PACER. It's over.
Hah, just wrote a letter to President Trump. Guess i will not waste the postage. Good News!

Just came here to post it.....but of course you're on top of things!
Likewise!

Amen to that.
When your opponent is in a hectic retreat, push like hell and scan for more opportunities.
There’s a good feeling in the cold winter air. Things are changing.
Yes. Very much so. Lots of cause for optimism. What a good week.
I just read the report on Gateway Pundit and ran here to tell you.
Hallelujah. Praise God. The nightmare is coming to an end.
Fantastic! Great work. Thank you. So glad and relieved for Ethan Haim.
I do enjoy the term "useless oxygen thieves".
AKA Adam Schiff.
Adding to the list with “waste of skin”
I’m in WA state & can relate.
... or waste of skin!! 😂
In other news, Trump just yanked Fauci's security detail and told him he could afford his own.
Good luck to that evil gnome...gonna need to put his head on a swivel.
I'm liking this Trump 2.0. No messing around!
Hell yes!
In retrospect it's probably a blessing that he "lost"

SNAP. Exactly

*oops: I meant "gender," not "header", and "ecologically," not "ecological"

Yeah. Exactly. But it's "news", and that's what counts. We're still trying to reach the 2 shots a done folks.
Revoked his security clearance also, you said elsewhere?
Both it appears. I'll confirm. Conducting a conference call right now and stacking at same time and reading articles.
Lol.
Priorities!
Yesssss great news RG

Yah. You're in the wrong place with that asininity. Unless you're trolling.
Horrific death toll, lol.
You can only call the White House for four hours a day, three days a week? Who did they have manning the phones, Sleepy Joe himself? That sounds a lot like his schedule when he was in the White House.
Yeah, it's crap. They need to do better.
Reassign some of those DEI idiots losing their jobs.... No scratch that.... I'm sure there's someone more qualified
A corpse would do a better job than anyone working in DEI.
Yeah, no, they are fully capable of not taking notes for things they don't want to pass along.

Senators and House reps maybe work 4 hours a day as well. Maybe.
In by ten, out by two, race you to the bar or the whorehouse.
Try to find anyone in the building at 2:30 on a Friday, LOL.
Thank you for this. Very important.
Dismissed! 🙏
I've been following this story as well - it's NUTS. They can't admit they are wrong.
Good. It'll be their undoing

As a resident of the State of Washington, I must respectfully reject the implication that your state has a monopoly on oxygen thieves. Tis' not so!

Maybe use X and tag Elon and POTUS and Trump’s accounts? If a bunch of us do that, it might start to trend? Just a thought.
Already a good amount of that going on X, but hoping for more.
