This is the result of a culture that has turned from Christ. From Proverbs 8, talking about the wisdom that resides with God:

Proverbs 8:36

"But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:

all they that hate me love death."

As E Michael Jones is often fond of saying, without the laws of God as a foundation, the laws of men are no more than the opinions of the powerful.

I was a hospice volunteer for five years when I lived in Pasadena (15 years ago). I sat with many dying people, seven of whom died while I was caring for them. They faced death with various degrees of worry, regret, and peace. Getting the opportunity to be with them and listen as they were approaching their end has been one of the great experiences and blessings of my life. I'm likely much less religious than many on this board, but I do think Jesus said we should care for the sick and dying. I'm blessed that I was given an opportunity to do so.

The "all is beauty" clip makes me feel physically ill and incredibly angry. Death is inevitable and comes for us all, but it's not the beautiful scene depicted in the pagan ritualistic prancing in the "all is beauty" clip. The self-delusion of the narrator reminds me of one of the human sacrifice scenes in "The Vikings" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuhBDkIn_RM) where drugged out men are slain for their gods. At least the characters in the tv show were not as self-indulgent. The gods they uselessly sacrificed themselves for were not themselves.

I've heard some horrible things about changes in attitudes in the hospice care community because of things like MAiD. I'm beyond mad, and beyond sad.
