It is funny: the dominant talk from Bulwark-type pundits seems to have been that Trump was leading the GOP into a permanent wilderness, and McConnell, Ryan, McCain, etc., knew it but were unable to save the party from itself.

But looking at it now, isn't it more like Obama was leading the Democrats into the wilderness?

"They live in a world of stranded symbols"

More brilliant analysis. The smugness of those people belongs in a Molière comedy, and now even CNN's Van Jones (who actually gets points for bravely "facing up to defeat") can't see beyond the podcasts and other alternative media that Trump used and Harris didn't.

As difficult as it is for normal people like us to understand, a lot of this apparent insanity is about the money. For instance, they don't call the Frankenstein-like surgical mutilation of CHILDREN and the mentally ill "The Transgender Industrial Complex" for nothing. This stuff is extremely lucrative. The hormones, the surgery, the medical care for life; there's A LOT, A LOT, A LOT of money in it for those who can manage to push themselves past the horrors.

Expand full comment
Steven C.'s avatar

Why couldn't they have restricted themselves to the entirely legal, and profitable, field of cosmetic surgery?

Expand full comment
Susan's avatar

You're absolutely right to ask that question; I've asked it myself upon hearing the "follow the money" cliche.

Maybe because in addition to the "good money," these "health workers" are also evil subhumans who get a major buzz from torturing children (and others) when they themselves know they deserve to be criminally prosecuted? And that many who do this are themselves "transgender" and their heart's desire is to add more freaks to the club? That they are also people who really enjoy undermining civilized society? Also there's this: No private practice or enterprise can compete with the gushing faucet of government money we have been seeing here ---- as opposed to maybe not getting paid by one's plastic surgery patient or a patient's insurance company from legitimate surgery?

Pointing out this stuff is a big money-maker is only to say that the transgender horror show is not just about ideology, nor is it merely a matter of "gender-affirmation" or a defense of "transgender rights." As you know...

Please let them be dead. 💀. And yet , I understand that whoever that woman’s is on the view has had to read 4 legal retractions and yet , i know people who still watch. Help me out here. Please. On both sides …. The view ladies knowingly go on daily and get it wrong , 😑 they and the watching ladies ( I’m stereotyping , I know ) turn the crap on daily even though they are feeding me bullshit.

Maybe the only people who watch are the people that want to make fun of how stupid they are? Wouldn’t that be awesome.

That initial letter kind of spells it out though. The point is to get free transition-treatments, nothing else.

And repeating myself: This is not the time to ease off the trigger. This is the time to increase the intensity of the attack against al things liberal, woke and progressive. To use the tired WW2-metaphor:

Imagine if the Germans had been allowed to retreat in good order instead of being caught in the Falaise-trap.

Everyone wants to be special, even unique. Genders and sexualities multiply like bacteria in a festering sore—and speaking of David French, if he wants to identify as a conservative for Harris, he might as well also identify as a gender fluid pansexual. It sounds messy, but no more so than the bile he excretes on the page.

When "conservative" is applied to both John Kasich and Ted Cruz "conservative" is a meaningless term.

I wonder how many Democrats would be on Epstein's list as opposed to Republicans?

Which would lead to the next question. How many Democrats are pedophiles?

I mean, if a seventy-year-old woman is all for mutilating your children, then how many of the rest believe in it?

The self-obsessed 'monologue' by the founder of Bulwark demonstrates everything you need to know about this political movement -- they are pathologically imprisoned inside their own heads. Kelly Ann Conway could not have looked more bored, but at one point I thought she was going to burst out in pure unadulterated laughter, the kind you can't stop.

She is hard at work from her hospital bed, or wherever she is recuperating from her hip replacement. AOC wants the minority chair of the Oversight Committee. James Comer said he'd welcome her. Pelosi bullies, threatens, or whatever she does to make sure her plebes are obedient, and AOC loses needed votes. Who actually is the House Minority Leader?
