The ADL, ACLU, SPLC, et al, have all become parodies of themselves. They just aren’t serious organizations honestly advocating for a cause and/or a peoples but just shills for the monied interests standing in the wings.
We have lost the ability (interest?) to engage in honest, respectful dialogue and debate.
I am increasingly curious in regards to the “Trans” community why their immediate go to seems to be violence as their reasonable form of argument. Is it perhaps because, at their core, they know they are living a lie and there is no intellectually way to support their position?
On another note, I am wondering what the “over/under” is on the release of the Nashville shooters “manifesto”?
I've seen Jewish-themed substacks, Christian, pro vax, ultra left wing, right wing, men's issues, women's issues, political, non political. Who knew I was reading so many different viewpoints so that I could be narrow minded and misinformed.
I myself am a peddler of hate. For example, I thought it was a bad idea when the FDA lifted restrictions on the antidiabetic drug Avandia, and I supported the wild-eyed conspiracy theory that GlaxoSmithKline faked its trial data.
There is one substack that I frequent that is (since I don’t seek out such things) the most resolutely Jew-hating thing I have ever encountered outside of the standard examples you see in history books. Since I’m Jewish, along with my family and many of my friends, this isn’t really an endearing feature of the blog.
However, the writer of the stack is also a useful source for perspectives from inside Russia on the war in Ukraine. I’m not going to plug it here because, well, fuck him, and he’s not likely to get me to spring for his paywalled stuff, but I nevertheless don’t want it to be removed at the behest of the ADL or anyone else.
When I first read the standard Western liberal texts on freedom of speech (Milton, Mill, Madison, et al.) many years ago, the consensus seemed so secure in their favor that I never had to interrogate myself too closely on where I stood – it just seemed a largely academic question, at least outside of really tough cases.
But now we’re here; it’s an extremely pressing and real question, and the contested zone isn’t in the far-off realm of obscenity and direct incitement, but rather anything outside of a monolithic, and increasingly all-encompassing consensus.
It’s a bad time, but there’s a kind of invigorating energy in realizing these issues aren’t just academic but very vital and present, and finding that I genuinely believe in free speech.
Drives me apoplectic with rage this Woke disingenuous mis-categorisation of open discussion and truth seeking through discourse and real journalism as misinformation and racism. How tired is this? Surely people are now wise to this PsyOps method of thought control? Surely people are outraged at the nefarious stupidity of the Woke agenda and the likely guiding hand behind the Woke “useful idiots” that is anything but socialist? Evidently not or the mainstream wouldn’t still be churning it out. How does it end? Our nations stood apart in that regard. People didn't lose hands or other body parts - or their lives - from a disagreement or debate.
Not like large tracts of Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, etc. We have imported some of that, in recent decades, and blood has been spilled.
While things had been going downhill for decades, the TDS, Plandemonium and all that followed really highlighted how far we had fallen as societies.

A generational effort, of which the ADL has been a part, has reached its endgame.

So the ADL hit piece comes out, in which they demand that Substack be deplatformed from Twitter. A few days later, Substack gets deplatformed from Twitter.
In the background, Substack is apparently trying to raise funding, and approached writers to become shareholders. Interesting move, one possible explanation of which being that they're having trouble getting funding from more conventional sources. Backroom pressure from the ADL?
If the pattern holds, we can expect Stripe to stop processing Substack payments in the near future.

He did a spot on Tucker the other night, link below, that I found very thought provoking. Interestingly enough, Fox cut him off in mid sentence but he did get over four minutes in before they did.

What the idiots from groups like the LGBTQ mob and BLM mob don’t realize is that once these monsters get the power they want, they will go after them too. That’s how Marxism works. They use the proletariat to help them gain power through revolution, then they murder just about anyone including the proletariat to keep that power. ("Harmful" of course being the euphemism du jour for blasphemy and heresy.) Then they station themselves outside while pointing their superweapon at you: the Bigotry Accusation. "Do what we tell you or every person or entity you know or do business with, from your grandma to your internet provider to that cute barista will know that you are fascist racist Jew-hating Nazis".
This strategy has been enormously successful (ideological fanaticism plus the promiscuous use of Bigotry Accusations is how the Left conquered academia), and if it doesn't work this time, other more intense strongarm tactics will be coming soon.
