Yeah with "best Biden ever" Joe Scarborough now proclaiming the ode to joy along with Joy Reid and the rest of the proven losers. And was that a joyous Lincoln Project pedophile I saw, or just someone who looks the part?
All true on your list, but unfortunately the Dems seem to be extremely diligent students of Goebbels’ propaganda & indoctrination. OTOH, they may be taking their cues from Mao or Kim Il-Sung.
I was only able to stand watching the lowlights from the low lifes each morning & even then, I muted them all until the commentary on NewsMax about what each DemoncRAT had said. It was remarkable - just w/ the sound off - how angry each speaker looked. All I could think was, “this is JOY??” 😂
Two weeks ago we held our annual fundraiser. we race up and down stairs at this iconic stadium in the Pacific Northwest. It’s a total vomit fest. Not everyone vomits, but every year someone vomits.
It is brutally hard. By design. Two years ago, we added a “heroes race“ for teams of three firefighters, law-enforcement officers, or military organizations. The men wear a 40 pound vest, and the women wear a 20 pound vest while conquering the same stairs the rest of us just ran and many people lost their breakfast.
When we train our volunteers, I consistently use this refrain, “we set the conditions for well earned joy.”
Anyone who has ever done anything very hard with other people understand this immediately. Joy comes from connection. Joy comes from conquering difficult things.
(I had to add this paragraph when I got home--I have true evidence of joy in the photos seven photographers captured.)
If I could upload the photos...we spend hours after the race going through the 1000s of photos. It is so inspiring. To witness growth and authentic joy in another human is simply beautiful. It may define beauty. It lifts me for months.
Joy is not manufactured by a couple of millennial marketing MBA’s.
This idea that the DNC is filled with joy must’ve been thought up by the same ass hat, who thought it was a good idea for Dillon Mulvaney to be a spokesman for Bud Light.
"Anyone who has ever done anything very hard with other people understand this imediately. Joy comes from connection. Joy comes from conquering difficult things."
Hah! Our old PT in compulsory school had us do that once in a while every semester from 7th grade up (7th is age 13). Not everyone vomits, but someone always vomits, indeed. Near school was a high cliff with a steep stair-case so people didn't have to go around the hillock-sized boulder the cliff was one side of.
So Christian as he was called had us race the stairs then jog downhill and around back to the stairs. It was pure torture. And it was glorious, the feeling of how conquering that hurdle again and again.
I'll never forget how we thanked him, the day before Jul (or Yule) Holidays our last year. He drove a teensy-tiny japanese car. All of us big guys got together and hoisted it up on top of a pile of snow left by the plow, make a yard high or so.
Then we hung about across the street until he quit that day. His face, his stance, his posture when he sees his car. . . and then us, jeering and waving and shouting "God Jul!".
And in January, he greeted us with a smile. The one a shark makes.
Hello boys, all rested yeah? Good because we have a treat for you: orienteering down in the forest (a nature preserve). Get moving, it's only five below freezing today and the wetlands are mostly frozen over".
I think, when we rob boys of such experiences, we make it nigh-on impossible for them to make themselves into men.
I love it! It not only retards growth into men, it robs of our deepest relationships--forged in the smelting furnace. Those relationships are what maintain us, strengthen us, and nurture us.
Your comment certainly resonates with me! While not anywhere nearly as difficult, marching band practice in August in Yuma (not cancelled even if it's 115 degrees outside) on a field next to a mosquito-laden canal is definitely a bonding experience. I never thought of it that way but we worked our a$$es off and were definitely our own group of 90+ dear friends. And then there was marchiing in heavy polyester band uniforms. In the rodeo parade every year (lots of horses). And not being allowed to break step no matter where your feet were going to land. Compared to that stuff, marching during football halftimes was a breeze. Marching band is one of the best things that ever happened to me!
Have you ever competed in that firefighter climb they do in Seattle every year? I think they climb the box the Space Needle came in, IIRC. In full kit. Amazing, makes you cry just to watch them when they make it.
No, but “the big climb” at Columbia Tower is what gave me the idea for our race. The space needle race is called base to space, and is actually younger than our event.
I’ve always meant to do the big climb just haven’t done it yet.
When designing the heroes race, I was torn about wearing turnout gear, kitted up, etc— But I decided on weighted vest instead.
I flipping HATE running in my Kevlar helmet. I imagine firefighters and cops also do not enjoy running in their gear.
Secondly, awaited vest is the only way to ensure distributed even weight. The weight differences between the uniforms likely have great disparity.
But your reaction is exactly what I’ve witnessed for the last two years. People, weeping tears of joy. Rebuilding pride, trust and confidence in the first responder and military communities target Maslow‘s basement needs of safety and security.
I attended the RNC convention. The Trump brand of hospitality was palpable. It was like a visit with favorite relatives the whole week. Hugs, dancing, celebrating life. A once in a lifetime experience. No dissension. Haley, DeSantis- even the Teamsters president, all pulling in the same direction. The logistics were flawlessly arranged. I wish everyone could experience it. Remarkably, it occurred in the days following the assassination attempt, but there was only gratitude, cohesion and joy. Real joy, not fake like the DNC. This is what America could be like.
We'll make it so. It's tough right now to be optimistic, and I'm on the edge of depression or murdering someone in equal measure, frequently. But we hang on, we fight, keep focused on the America we can recreate/create, we're all good. Eventually.
Scowls and howls. frumps against Drumpf. I haven’t watched any of the DNC, but the highlights are loaded with estrogen, SSRIs, and birth control. No other country has histrionic politicians like our joyful democrats. The word count was mostly trump, very few mentions of real issues. He will live rent free in their heads forever.
All the issues we have are the ones the Democrats created. They can only say, "We won't go back! Forward!" It's like a Chinese communist propaganda poster come to life.
I’ve watched some of the democratic convention each night but no where near all. Everything I’ve heard so far can be summed up as “we could run the pet dog and you better vote for her because Trump is just so awful and unAmerican”. That’s the entire message. That’s the entire platform. And if elected the dog will bring joy. God help us if the dog gets elected.
And that is the primary plank in their platform; a party devoid of the need or desire to think, beyond the shared fear that Trump will personally spew toxins into the environment, melting the solar system, personally impregnate all females of child-bearing age, and force them to bear his spawn, personally force all undecided genders to declare M or F, under force of law, and otherwise make mean faces and scare the children.
Worst of all, Trump will weaponize the Department of Justice and sic it on his political opponents, sending dozens of armed FBI agents to Biden's beach house to seize the documents he has carefully stored by his Corvette.
One contrast that's struck me is the journalist Michael Tracey trying to get interviews at the DNC as he did at the RNC. Next to NOBODY would talk to him at the DNC, while seemingly everyone he asked at the RNC did, and gave thoughtful interviews, whether I agreed with their viewpoints or not. This has also been my experience in general since 2016: red team members will talk and listen, blue team members refuse.
Honestly the vitriol and hate for trump or any sign of conservatism ( you could be a middle of the roader) is causing people to vote so far left … they would cut off their nose to spite their own face .
I like that, a lot. Far more important, God likes it. That'd be God the FATHER.
But kinda late for all that stuff now, though, even if you could pass it, which you couldn't. Damage was done long ago.
P.S. If only men voted, no Dem/Leftist/Prog president would ever have been elected. No FDR, no Clinton, and damn sure no Obama. And very few other leftie governors, senators, etc. would even have held office, either.
So? Woodrow Wilson certainly took part in leading the nation into globalism. But he was not Bill Clinton, FDR, or Barry Soetoro.
I suppose you could search around and find another exception or two. It does not invalidate the points I have made in this thread, nor the vast and central influence of enfranchised and empowered women in dragging the nation constantly, ever leftward into what you have now, tyranny and open calls for the destruction of anybody (meaning, male) who resists the femborg.
I've been filling my brain with Jonathan Haidt and women are so screwed up by social media. They'll declare anything just for a like. All the while they are spiraling down the drain of depression and their devouring mothers.
The democrats haven't figured it out yet and likely never will, but they could get the American women to vote themselves into communism in order to preserve their "right" to kill their babies, if they would just shut up about communism.
Biden’s pic looks like an intake photo at the Maricopa County Jail for an old dude who lost his marbles and shot the Door dash guy for forgetting the siracha ranch dipping sauce for his chicken nuggets.
Note the tilted heads on the female Democrat speakers. Recognise from kindergarten, or from grandma, when you'd been silly about something?
Yep, it's the same face. Slight tilt, slightly annoyed disapproval, and an expression of exasperation that says "You done goofed, kid, but I still like you and I'd like you even better if you stopped misbehaving and just ate your supper".
It's that face, and it's their greatest subconscious "tell" for how they see you.
NO, NO, NO, Chris---that's the face of...J-O-Y!

Here’s a great video about Democrat “joy”:
https://youtu.be/ulERMkWimPQ?si=01U_HOKPL5kGKD0a
Yeah, 45 seconds.
Yes, I did not see “joy”
That opening montage might put me off my dinner.
Yeah with "best Biden ever" Joe Scarborough now proclaiming the ode to joy along with Joy Reid and the rest of the proven losers. And was that a joyous Lincoln Project pedophile I saw, or just someone who looks the part?
Given how much better the Nazis were at organizing, marketing, and choral singing, we probably don't really have that much to fear from the Democrats.
All true on your list, but unfortunately the Dems seem to be extremely diligent students of Goebbels’ propaganda & indoctrination. OTOH, they may be taking their cues from Mao or Kim Il-Sung.
You do. They have most of the influential powers of the world backing them.
Did Walz actually do a literal goose step around 0:52?
🤮

Lol...and well said.
Well said.
I wrote a series of articles about attending the convention. Check out my stack if you want to experience what I did

“…loaded with estrogen, SSRIs, and birth control.”
And vasectomies! Don’t forget the VASECTOMIES!
With today's sperm counts and male feminization, many Dems probably don't need vasectomies.
The future belongs to those who show up!
Free vasectomies- don’t forget free. Dems love to give stuff away
Yuri Bezmenov ….. you made excellent points .

They should be honored to bear his spawn... Better than they are used to...
On the question of spawn, I think a coupling of Walz's son and Emhoff's daughter could produce the Demoncrat leader of the future.
If it has to be a democrat it better be the dog.
Betting the dog would do a better job than VP Cackle....
Dogs have great campaign platforms:
1) Is there food?
2) Is there comfy shelter?`
3) Is there playtime?
4) Is there mates for mating?
5) Is the turf well pissed-in and guarded?
Imagine a governement sticking to those simple items.
🤣😂
That bulldog is a great look. Apparently there is still one guv in New Amerika that still has his groceries intact.
Scold me harder, DNC! It make me so... joyful!

BNYB do you remember What's the Matter with Kansas? we've done a 180 here
Yes I agree nymusicdaily
People won’t like this but if we repealed the 19th amendment, Democrats could never win a national election again.

I am 50 and I know that the USA will break apart into separate regions sometime during the remainder of my life.
I've been filling my brain with Jonathan Haidt and women are so screwed up by social media. They'll declare anything just for a like. All the while they are spiraling down the drain of depression and their devouring mothers.

turns out the original voting requirements in the colonies and then states may have been based on wisdom.
The "Official Facial Expression" shows how much Dems adore the aesthetics of the "Derp Derp, Progressives Disapprove" YouTube Thumbnail.
And Hillary's warning to "domestic" enemies sounds like a challenge and threat to anyone who disagrees with liberal pieties.
I hate to brag, but I received the same number of primary votes as Kamalamadingdong
Personally, I don’t care what Nessel does in her bedroom or how she raises her twin boys . The drama was unnecessary. The hate was obvious.
