Their mission wasn’t anything to do with public health. Their goal was to inject ineffective & dangerous materials into every man, woman & child they could coerce into it.
It was a huge victory for public health, no doubt...mid level bureaucrats and obscure academics and the like suddenly became minor celebrities, and gained power that they never dreamed of. They certainly don’t want to give it up. So from their perspective, it’s been great. Those pesky commoners? Pay them no mind! We don’t even have to hide it anymore.

I do have to admit, year three of this hysteria has become a pretty good black comedy. Blows away anything John Kennedy Toole might have come up with had he overcome his demons.
Wow. Great piece. We see the culmination of a slave class of government-educated serving government as the highest good. They've learned in school that their work is meaningful and all the pithy catch-phrases of the Left. They are NPCs - unthinking, unknowing, and firmly believing they do both, because they were taught that's what thinking and knowing looks like.
