The 57th House district here in VA consists of 17 precincts in the far northwest end of Henrico County (an oddly drawn county that's shaped like the handheld receiver of a wall-mounted rotary-dial phone, wrapping around the city of Richmond oriented with the earpiece to the northwest of the city and the mouthpiece to the east / southeast) and 4 precincts in the eastern end of solidly red Goochland County to Henrico's west. If you scroll down to the results for the 57th district on this page (same website as Chris' link but different page),
The two counties have one precinct apiece that hasn't reported yet. Goochland's 3 that have reported averaged about 1900 total votes each, with Owen leading by something like 32-33 percentage points, or nearly 2:1. The 16 Henrico precincts whose results are in each had roughly 1800 votes on average, with Gibson up by just over 3%. Taking the district in total, Owen's 966 vote lead is a margin of ~2.75% as it currently stands.
Extrapolating from the county precinct numbers above, we should find Owen having won by about 3.8% or 3.9% after the final precinct in each county has troubled itself to submit the damn results -- a larger margin than his current lead, and I got that result while giving the benefit to Gibson on every number I rounded to make the figures simpler to work with.

In Virginia, voters in Richmond rejected a casino, and elsewhere rejected a candidate that did online pornography for money and then claimed to be a victim of Republican operatives. So there is that. But yes, the overall results are confounding. We will descend slowly into Portland low grade anarchy until people connect the dots.

I think I figured out what's going on with the discrepancy between the vote tally I mentioned in a post further up the page, where I noted that Gibson was down by ~960 votes, and the count that shows on the link in Chris' post a few messages up in this thread, that has her up by about 900. only shows the tally from Henrico County precincts. The 57th House district here in VA consists of 17 precincts in the far northwest end of Henrico County (an oddly drawn county that's shaped like the handheld receiver of a wall-mounted rotary-dial phone, wrapping around the city of Richmond oriented with the earpiece to the northwest of the city and the mouthpiece to the east / southeast) and 4 precincts in the eastern end of solidly red Goochland County to Henrico's west. it shows the count for the entire district (Goochland precincts plus Henrico precincts), which has Owen leading by 966.

The two counties have one precinct apiece that hasn't reported yet. Goochland's 3 that have reported averaged about 1900 total votes each, with Owen leading by something like 32-33 percentage points, or nearly 2:1. The 16 Henrico precincts whose results are in each had roughly 1800 votes on average, with Gibson up by just over 3%. Taking the district in total, Owen's 966 vote lead is a margin of ~2.75% as it currently stands.
Extrapolating from the county precinct numbers above, we should find Owen having won by about 3.8% or 3.9% after the final precinct in each county has troubled itself to submit the damn results -- a larger margin than his current lead, and I got that result while giving the benefit to Gibson on every number I rounded to make the figures simpler to work with.
TFL;DR if Nurse Chaturbate ends up winning, it will mean rampant shenanigans took place.

Politics for me is just a source of grief and depression. I no longer believe I can control any of it, not even to a tiny degree. The best I could do would be to move to a place like Florida where “my side” is currently and then try to defend it.

Everyone who works in those industries? We live in a government run economy, we are the Soviet Union. It happened slowly, most didn't notice it, and fear took care of the rest. Healthcare isn't much different.

The language in the bill vaguely mentioned the rights of ‘individuals’, in case some evil mom or dad wanted to stand in the way of their underage child making their own decisions about sex, abortion or gender surgery.
