Brilliant, yet terrifying comparison

Chris, This is scary in its clarity. Head still shaking. Cannot wait to read the follow-on. Hope you have some suggestions about what we should do about it all. We are all trying to figure out something other than waiting for an election which may or may not happen due to some excuse we have not yet seen. (Like Dr. Fauci announces that elections are COVID superspreaders so we have to vote using a special federal voting app...TOTALLY SAFE AND EFFECTIVE and approved by the Truth Panel, of course.) So any ideas from smart people are avidly sought. Thanks

You can't reason with emotion. Full stop. So If people are emotionally hooked...you can show them all the new evidence and legitimate academic studies and it will not matter. At all. This can be about ANY subject.

I'm not immune to it either! Awareness of it is key. I've had "feelings" things weren't right and saw through the facades of the past two years and knew that I just had to wait for the studies to catch up. So I did and the academic studies did come and are still coming. Meanwhile

I kept quiet because "feelings" aren't enough to go on and I could've been wrong. I wanted to be! But was and am not.

The parallels with our current religious mania, Wokism, are eerie, and unsettling. Today, however, we don't have to be persuaded to 'voluntarily' drink the KoolAid. We are required, under pain of excommunication, to accept the shit our high priests have decreed MUST be injected directly into our bodies. Looking forward to Part 2.

I have been attempting to get folks to grasp the _profound_ difference between epistēmē and its retarded red-headed cousin 'doxa' for almost 3 decades - it's a fruitless task, and is not worth bothering about since Bias of Priene got it EXACTLY right in ~500BCE...

HOI PLEISTOI ANTHROPOI KAKOI - Most people are shit[1].

Look at the results of any PIAAC study, and you will find that AT THE 90TH DECILE, adult humans in the 'civilised' West cannot reliably

--- "perform multiple-step operations to integrate, interpret, or synthesise information from complex or lengthy continuous, non-continuous, mixed, or multiple-type texts that involve conditional and/or competing information. They can make complex inferences and appropriately apply background knowledge as well as interpret or evaluate subtle truth claims or arguments." ---

(That's the definition of PIAAC Level IV for literacy: less than 10% of participants achieve this, and the median participant does not achieve Level III, which is the "minimum required for individuals to meet the complex demands of everyday life and work in the emerging knowledge-based economy").

[1] In this context, I translate 'kakoi' as 'shit', because it's a very imprecise word to begin with (so I can translate it broadly)... but there is some method in my madness.

It's seen everywhere in Greek - often when there is another, more precise word that would serve.

So it might be tempting to declare kakoi nothing more than "a negating prefix - like 'MAL-'" but that ignores that kakoi (and kakos, and kakon) is a very, VERY obviously a cognate of kakkao - [to] shit, excrement - and that kakkao is older (derived from kakka, which is Proto-Indo-European for the same substance).

Hence 'kakophonos' (cacophony: shit noise); kakoethes (shit ethics/behavioural code); kakotropos (shit mood/manner); perikakesis (shit luck)... and my outright favourite:

kakistokrates... RULE BY SHIT.

The usual translations of 'kakoi' used in Bias's apophthegm ('wicked', 'bad', 'worthless', 'evil', 'wretched', 'unhappy') are unsatisfying to anyone who understands the tendency of the Sages to engage in what basically amounts to trolling.

γνῶθι σεαυτόν - focus on that, because at least 90% of the population aren't worth bothering about.

BIAS WAS RIGHT. Being 'BIASED' is the same as being BASED.

THE BLACKPILL LIBERATES - and is the best policy-analytic and forecasting tool imaginable.

Start from the premise that every policy is designed to transfer vast amounts of wealth to an undisclosed set of beneficiaries that doesn't include anyone in the demos, and you will be right WAY more often than you're wrong. [Oops... edited... originally wrote 'less often'. In my defence, I was dropped on my head as an infant]

At least with magicians we can be harmlessly entertained. The rest of the charlatans need to be drawn and quartered to protect the gullible.

When I found out behavioural scientists and 'nudges' were part of the scam, I knew we were in trouble. It was pretty clear way back in 2020. I couldn't believe how easily people fell for it and into line.

Dr. Veillette of McGill's Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences: “People have been held by the hands for two years, but they haven’t been educated about how to act once it would be their turn to take care of it themselves.”

Kneel before Zod.

I communicated with behavioural scientists. I wasn't impressed one bit by the sophomoric responses I got. They are presumptuous and paternalistic quacks. But they have the ear of politicians and somehow it finds its way into policy.

Have you read the book No Man Knows my History, by Fawn Brodie?

Chris, amazing. Truly we have exposed the kool-aid drinkers of 2022. There are many more of them than we thought. They are willing to go along with everything, including a stolen election. Jim Jones was just a bit before his time, the Fauci's of the world should credit Mr. Jones for all they have done. One big difference, the modern Jim Jones' have killed many more with their modern day kool-aid.

I wouldn’t be too sure about this story. Good research by national security state historian John Judge into Jonestown indicates it was a covert operation. His research suggests the suicide cult was a cover story to kidnap and enslave women and children (all poor). Judge argues in general that mass suicide is a figment of the national security state’s imagination and that it is a propaganda tool for explaining away mass murders committed during covert operations. His research is pretty convincing: https://ratical.org/ratville/JFK/JohnJudge/Jonestown.html

Exactly. I watched my mother who now 76 become a cult of Fauci member. This woman who rebelled against everyone and everything her whole life is now a compliant sheep. The Left state media and Lord Fraudci have used fear to lead the sacrifices to slaughter.

I was walking past a local community center when I saw a line of pre-schoolers marching back to the center from the playground. About 2/3 of the kids had masks on, outside. The third that didn't were smiling and seemed more joyful.

Not even a third of the adults I see indoors are wearing masks. I heard our governor recently reminding people there can be no mask shaming, that people wearing a mask despite that there is not a mandate is a personal choice to be respected.

What if this is just some subconscious acceptance that we have to deliberately draw down global population to keep the lights on and the wheels turning in the way we have grown accustomed to?

Wondering how people can be so incredibly gullible? It starts in public school, where we are trained to conform. Schools are competent at one thing: convincing us of our own incompetence.
