It's almost like they're making money off of our suffering 🤔

Yep, not a new concept.

I can't possibly even estimate how many blood pressure screenings I participated in over my 38 year long community pharmacist career, besides the fact that I did them every day on demand. And of course the charge was ZERO.

And the blood sugar testing, I was a pharmacy graduate intern when we became the first pharmacy in South Carolina to offer the Ames testing protocol and those first lancets weren't worth a crap. I demonstrated those old units so many times I used to ask for volunteers for fresh fingers!

No, thank you The Ungovernable. My sister is still alive and functioning when she demanded to be taken off statins. Almost killed her.

Mevacor, or the generic Lovastatin, in my personal experience over decades in the community pharmacy, the only one that seemed to not cripple the people that took it.

"Me Too" drugs have such a poor track record!

Just like Dr. Suess’ “The Sneetches,” and Sylvester McMonkey McBean and his Star Off and Star On machine. He takes money from the plain belly Sneetches to put on, and Star belly Sneetches to take off stars from their bellies, until they’re all out of money.

GET A BOOSTER! Get it often. No matter what ails you, boosters are always the answer. I know the regime spent over 30 billion of the printed funny money now circulating. How much do you think they are spending on advertising this crap? Grrrrr

LifeLine Screening is a business trying to make a buck in health screening. I confess to getting suckered into one time getting about 4 tests done for $150 or so. So, think about what that tells you, the fact it has decided to offer this service. Are we making headway? They wouldn't be offering this service if there wasn't demand. What does that tell you?

I think a lot of LifeLine because of what happened to my mother in her early 80"s. She had her four tests and not long after, received a bright red envelope in the mail. It told her their findings showed a tremendous blockage in one of her carotid arteries. It urged her to contact her medical office immediately. The medical office was very skeptical, but my mother insisted she be seen. Well, it turned out to be true and I was summoned to Iowa to be with her while she underwent the procedure. That is why maybe every 5 years or so I pay the full sum for 4 tests but I only get the ultrasound one of my carotid arteries as I am now 81. Have you noticed that doctors only listen to your carotid arteries with a stethoscope? Mom lived on to age 90 in pretty decent health.

Glad to hear a bit of positive reporting on something "medical." ^_^

I assume, going by your age and your mother's age in your story, that this was all some time ago. Me, I have an 88 y-o mom and a 91 y-o dad, and I would be loathe to take them to a hospital these days for fear they'd simply "put them down." I'm not kidding, and I'm not crazy. Anyway, my lovely, here's wishing you a nice Holiday Time, and the best for the New Year. xo

This is everywhere, but booster intake is, at last check low. They could try and start sweeping this failed experiment under the rug, but they aren't, why? Monkeypox didn't generate the fear factor. Climate is tough to predict, if you're looking for a catastrophe and embarrassing if you're wrong. What will the bastards pull out of their hats next?
