It’s the last week of the legislative session in Sacramento, and legislators are rushing to slop the last of their harm onto the state before they go home until after the elections. Among the unfinished business is SB 866, a bill that would allow children to get mRNA injections — Covid-19 “vaccines,” the shots that don’t prevent infection or transmission — without parental knowledge or consent. The bill passed in the Senate months ago, but has since been amended in the Assembly — originally allowing 12 year-olds to “consent” to vaccination without telling their parents, but now putting the age limit at fifteen.
It’s a heavy lift for the bill’s sponsors, because the amendment makes it a different bill than the one the Senate passed, but it’s alive and it has a chance. And the pressure is on:
The arguments have to be seen to be believed. Here’s a pediatrician and California Medical Association trustee, Dr. Shannon Udovic-Constant, arguing the subtle vaccines good / anti-vaxxers bad line:
Under current law, teens who want to get vaccinated against COVID must get parental consent. This week, the California Assembly will consider SB 866, that would allow older teens, at least 15 years old, to consent to the COVID vaccine…
Unfortunately, some parents are misled by extremist disinformation, and may deny their teens the protections that vaccines provide. It is important that older teens are afforded the opportunity to take a more proactive role in their own health care and future and be able to make their own decisions about being vaccinated…
The COVID vaccines represent a truly remarkable moment in history – scientists and physicians working together, with bipartisan support within government, to deliver life-saving vaccines in record time.
That’s it: Miracle vaccines in record time, resisted only by those who’ve been infected with extremist disinformation. How many days has it been since the quadruple-vaxxed Joe Biden, the quadruple-vaxxed Jill Biden, the quadruple-vaxxed Anthony Fauci, and the quadruple-vaxxed Albert Bourla have been sick with the thing they were just quadruple-vaccinated against?
See, that means it works!
So the legislators huddled in Sacramento this week are being pounded with pro-mRNA cheerleading, telling them that a vote for SB 866 saves the lives of helpless children who’ve been denied protection by their ignorant Nazi parents. If you live in California, this is your last chance to give your legislators another perspective.
Finally, note this claim from Dr. Shannon Udovic-Constant: “SB 866 is not a mandate. This does not mandate a single vaccination. SB 866 merely empowers older teens by allowing them to get the care they need from their existing physician while also taking control of their own health and their own future.”
In practice, what SB 866 will mean is pizza parties at the local high school. Free ice cream, just get this one quick shot! It means the door is open for the medical coercion of children, with parents locked out of the discussion. It means children getting mRNA injections…
…without parental consent or parental knowledge.
Speak up, and do it now.
Thank you for your relentless efforts to save California from its own self-immolation, Chris, as well as for sharing my Letter to the California Legislature.
For those who are in California, I provided instructions on how to participate in a postcard campaign to Gavin Newsom in the Action Alerts section of my last post:
• “Letter to the German Bundestag” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/i/68654621/dont-let-them-take-california)
I don’t expect Newsom to pay any attention, but it would still be gratifying to irritate him with an avalanche of postcards.
CA legislature is a couple steps behind. They didn't get the memo that they are supposed to change course and blame Trump for the rushed vaccines. Give them a few weeks to catch up.
