Also, incredibly clear that we're seeing a gendered political divide, and young women especially are EXTREMELY responsive to completely empty "brat summer" vibes campaigns:

Young women voted:

81% for Mamdani in NYC

80% for Sherrill in NJ

78% for Spanberger in VA

I live in WA state and I see this everyday. My female clients, friends and family all far left. I was too before COVID and getting married to my husband. It’s all feelings: vibes, kindness, be kind, empathy, feeling good because you aren’t the baddy. Very religious in its zeal, yet none are. The information diet leaves no room for pushback, the Kirk assassination is an excellent example.

Even crazier, they don't realize they are far left. Their ignorance and naivete is striking, but the fact that they have no idea that they're the ones that inhabit some alternate reality really takes the cake.

The real black pill comes not from the fact that these women lack the discernment to understand things like risks or tradeoffs, it's that when you tell them *exactly what will happen because of what they are doing*, then it happens, they still blame someone else.

It's astonishing. Years ago I was warning these idiots about the white identity politics that is going to result from their bullshit... Now it's Fuentes' fault or whatever. They are completely incapable of recognizing their role in the bad outcomes that follow.

They really should not be permitted to vote.

Nick Fuentes is not the problem here. In fact, if European Americans had any sense of cultural/racial self awareness they might at least not be completely defenseless against the very blatant and aggressive expansionist political cultural/racial agendas of other cultures/races and their treasonous accomplices in the US. Gender, race, migration and guilt have been completely weaponized against Americans. And most Americans have accepted this programming and the obvious catastrophic result out of fear of being called "racist, homophobic, flyover country deplorables". It's a disgusting level of cowardice.

Expand full comment
No name here's avatar

I'm not saying it is Fuentes' fault. I don't really care. The point is that who is promoting white identity politics is incidental. It was a predictable outcome of their bullshit.

And left wing women are completely unaware of the fact that their blank slate worldview is complete nonsense (it exists entirely because they see politics as a form of affirmation - and why wouldn't they?), and because they are completely incapable of understanding their role in normalizing this, Fuentes is just the start.

It's going to get much worse.

I'm not blaming the groypers. At least they exist in response to *actual fucking reality* and not the make believe world that we allow these women to exist in - while permitting them to be involved in politics as validation.

So even if I had a beef with Fuentes, it would not matter. It's pretty clear that reasoned argument has left the realm of the possible largely due to female political involvement, so violence is probably unavoidable. This puts me on his side regardless of if I like it or not, because I'm white.

So way to go, ladies!

Women are the problem. Women are the problem. Women are the problem. (I say this as a woman!)

They are self-righteous, miserable, virtual signaling cat ladies who have nothing better to do demand your money be stolen through taxation and opine over how it should be spent 'feeding their neighbors'. Not one of these women has functioning children or contributes in any meaningful way to their community.

As the family goes, so goes the nation, and a significant number of women (including young women) do not value family at all. They pretend to care about "the people", but abort their babies, promote child sterilization, discard men, and advocate for every policy that keeps children without functioning parents.

They are anti-human, anti-freedom, and anti-reality in every way. Gird your loins. It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

In fairness, they have also been targeted for extreme psychological manipulation and programming over the last 70 years, with the intent of weaponizing their virtues (empathy, community) against them and the nation. I think, spitballing it here, young women are designed to compete for high-value young men. Generically, those men, in performance, prestige, and potentiality, have in this era been devalued in their eyes. That competitive impulse has hit the skids and turned into the virtue-and-hipness olympics, sponsored by Govmint's-Yer-Daddy.

Or, maybe, most women truly are the weaker, easily-led vessel. My own history suggests this.

Expand full comment
CherylBray's avatar

I think your first response is quite interesting. You reference evolutionary differences related to biology which is something Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying discuss frequently (both evolutionary biologists). This idea would be quite interesting to explore.

I don't know about your last comment. Are women really more "followers/easily led" than men? Are the differences due to biology? I genuinely don't know as my personal experience is so different from what you describe.

My experience is just my experience, of course but I don't feel easily led or weak. I've never been in the norm, politically or socially. I lean libertarian and conservative in the bluest of all states and have no issue standing firm for faith, freedom and family. Of course, my views may be in the minority, but I think the trend is going this way, not the other way despite this recent election.

If the distinctions are indeed due to biology, then I think we'll be ok as the natural order of things in biology will course correct the current social trends. If they are due to outside interference, then we need to identify and influence those factors.

At 60, I could count on one hand how many women in my high school were like you. Although many were quite smart, a lot of them were not really focusing on a career, they just wanted to get a job that would pay enough to let them move out of their parents. I wasn’t much different. I didn’t have any vices, but I just assumed a decent job would fall in my lap someday. Don’t know how I thought that, since my math skills have always been remedial at best. Focused on reading a lot, but nothing job-oriented. Further, my parents raised me to be dependent on them and to have very weak boundaries as well.

Needless to say, these are things I’m learning/have learned the hard way over many years. I am still very timid in too many ways, but working on it.

You are definitely to be commended! As far as the discussion goes, I can see how both nurture and nature/environment can come into play here.

Expand full comment

I agree - as a biologist I've looked at this a bit. Women do tend to look for high value men and there just aren't as many of them anymore. I think some of this has to be due to the ease in which we live our lives. There are no longer ways for men to prove their worth. Think of families two hundred years ago. Men had to hunt and trap to survive, feed their family. Now there is no need for that. When the tool to separate the wheat of the chaff goes away, so does the ability to delineate. With no purpose and no mating prospects, the men head for the gaming console.

No dating, no marriage, no children, no extension of their DNA and culture. On top of this legal/illegal immigration is sold on the idea of white guilt and moral duty, so that the "electorate" and its "government" are something completely different. "Watching man-on-the-street voter interviews, I have learned that we have to vote for Democrats because Donald Trump turned women into handmaids who don’t have any rights at all and have to be slaves to the brutal Christian nationalist patriarchy, because we need government grocery stores to make food abundant and affordable, because Donald Trump ordered health insurance costs to double, because Virginia’s state government is going to put an immediate stop to the deportations, and because we have to vote against our dictator king who said that we’re not allowed to have freedom anymore. The “No Kings” protests worked."

This is the thing I argue MOST about with my younger New Right friends, who think that because we won the popular vote last year, and because the legacy media is unpopular, and because the legacy media predicted the election incorrectly, that the mainstream media machine is a discredited farce that most Americans ignore.

This is a category error. Yes, it is discredited. Yes, it is unpopular. Yes, it has been exposed for pushing narratives over news. But it is everywhere, all the time. I try to stay away from it, and even with supreme effort I'll hear what Democrats are hyperventilating about this week -- Trump is TEARING DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE! -- like cultural osmosis, without having to read a single word or watch a single frame.

I got into a debate with a friend about Charlie Kirk after his assassination, because at the time the press was trying to spin it that it was a Republican who killed him, and he laughed at me. Why? Because he had access to information. The shooter had a trans girlfriend, was on activist tumblr, wrote progressive talking points onto the shell casings. Anyone with any information at all would know the media was lying.

The following week, poll after poll: Most Americans thought Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a Republican.

We will never win with the legacy media leviathan still active. Even if you subscribe to the theory that these are the dying throes of a wounded animal... fine. Those dying throes are dangerous and destructive.

The media's ability to spin naked lies into narrative will always and forever be our undoing until we can create legitimate parallel institutions. Otherwise we will always lose. Otherwise we. Will always. LOSE.

I read a good article once about the HG Wells war of the worlds radio broadcast and the hysterical reaction of a large portion of the audience. People thought it was real with no evidence, there was even a disclaimer earlier in the broadcast. The article I read was about how the government was paying attention and learned that people could be controlled in this way.

(I have this elsewhere but it seems better here)

Seek and ye shall find.

All those seeking truth are finding it. (Admittedly with some effort). Those that don't want truth; they would rather feel good about being the good people since they are so aligned with the narrative, are not the slighted bit suspicious about why the news-narrative finds them so easily, is so uniform across many sources, always has the same heroes and villains.

So reforming the media won't be enough. Removing the drugs maybe helpful, but in and of itself does not remove the addiction. Thus reforming the media won't change how so many want to open the NYT and an Orange Rage the whole day.

I don’t think so. Trump has a big ego and wants a big legacy. For that he needs big Republican victories in 2026 and 2028. Therefore it’s logical that he will do what he can to make that happen. That includes all the scandals they’ve discovered inside the government since the inauguration. I expect three years of bombshells.

Meanwhile, Democrats learned nothing from 2024, and now are doubling down on all their unpopular policies: pro-crime, pro-illegals, pro-trancing kids, pro-DEI/racial quotas, pro-socialism, pro-globalist. They’re losing voters at a rapid rate. The next census will cost them multiple House seats and electoral votes. They’re on the wrong side of the Fourth Turning vibe shift.

Always keep in mind that the Republican party is not an opposition party. Their purpose is to pretend to be an opposition party so their voters, whom they hate, feel they have a choice.

The Democrat media is effective. Their voters are always energized to fight the 4th Reich and are kept in the dark about reality. The Democrats like it that way.

On a positive note, that Seattle candidate is at least clear that Hitler invented the concept of supply and demand. People who think customers having more money to spend on pizza would make pizza more expensive are obviously nazis.

Email message in response to this post, unedited, with the same remarkable formatting that I got to enjoy when I opened it:

Sir : This is nothing but the same old tired right-wing BS . let's face it ; there is no doubt that Donald Trump is by far the worst, most incompetent, clueless, inept , unfit, unqualified , incapable , unworthy , unethical , unprincipled , amoral , self-serving , uncaring , unscrupulous ,

abysmally stupid , ignorant and poorly educated , hypocritical , mendacious , conniving ,manipulative , crude, vulgar , crass ,

undignified , greedy, ruthless , callous, cruel , brainless, heartless, soulless , witless ,dishonest . hateful , racist , misogynist ,xenophobic , Islamophobic , Un -American , Anti- Democracy , ProFascist ,dent in US history anti -progress , anti-freedom , anti-justice , anti-equality ,

anti-free speech , anti-you name it president in US history . He is an unspeakably vile man with absolutely no redeeming qualities .

There is absolutely nothing good or admirable about him . Trump is nothing but a glorified conman and grifter who looks out only for himself and no one else . He is the worst demagogue in US history ,

This man is a dangerous malignant narcissistic sociopath and a pathological liar ; a deranged idiot , megalomaniacal lunatic with delusions of grandeur who is so conceited as to be incapable of ever having done anything wrong or made any mistakes in life .

Trump has lied and cheated his way into being elected president twice despite having zero qualifications for the most difficult and crucial job in world history , aided and abetted by his super slick spin doctors , massive amounts of propaganda falsely portraying him as great American patriot and hero , a genius businessman whose amazing skills would "make America great again ",

create general prosperity and freedom by protecting us proper white folks from those uppity blacks, all those horrible Hispanic rapists and murderers and stop those heathen Muslims from imposing Sharia on "Christian " America .'

And in terms of personal morality , Trump is a monster ! He has openly and proudly admitted to cheating on all three of his wives , is a womanizer who makes Bill Clinton look like a choirboy , a notorious sexual predator of not only women, but girls as young as 13 ! Yes, he was a close pal of the late, unlamented Jeffrey Epstein and had his way with young girls . This is why he and the Republicans are so terrified of the release of the Epstein files ,

In business, Trump was a total failure and never had a single successful business . All of his casinos went under , and Trump, wines, Trump steaks , Trump airlines , Trump magazine and Trump clothes (made in China ) non of them lasted for more than a year or so .

Such a "genius businessman ". In business, Trump lost and wasted staggering amounts of money because of his stupidity ,poor judgment , greed, recklessness and corruption . If he had managed his finances widely and skillfully he could have become one of the richest men in America . Trump opened up the notorious fraud called "Trump university and had to pay millions to his victims .

Therefore , how could anyone expect him to be an even minimally competent and honest president ? There are still about 1,500 lawsuits against him as well as an enormous number of conflicts of interest between his businesses and his presidency .

There is no question about it - Trump and his henchmen have set him up as America's first authoritarian , totalitarian fascist

dictator, not our president . We no longer have a president or a functioning Democratic government . Trump , his henchmen and the REPUGNICAN party ( what it should be called ) a.k.a the GOP (gross old perverts ) have pulled off a bloodless coup .

Heaven help America now !

Blaming the cost of pizza on customer rent is a very shallow economic analysis.

The idea being if more pizza was sold, due customers having more money, it would result in cost savings due to volume. So the owner could afford to sell for less. Going from $8 to $2 a slice.

It ignores:

- business owner rent

- ingredients cost

- compliance costs

- labor costs (Seattle has a $20.76 minimum wage).

- taxes

- local crime

- profit maximization

I thank the older gentlemen, Navy veteran, you highlighted at the top of your post for his service to the country but, frankly his (which is also mine) generation can't die off soon enough. They (we/boomers) are the only things keeping the legacy media alive. As our generation dies off that platform will disappear in a whiff of smoke and within five minutes no one will even remember what it was.
