Attorney General Bonta:

In your August 28 press conference, you said that, for transgender youth, “school serves as their only safe haven.” What a remarkable statement.

The barely veiled premise behind your lawsuit against the Chino Valley Unified School District is that government sites are safe and nurturing, but family is inherently dangerous and cruel. A child is most at home at a government-run facility, and the most intimate relationships a child has are his or her relationships with government officials.

Relationships with parents, on the other hand, are far less intimate and far less important, and parents must be kept out of the deep secrets children have with school officials, their true nurturers and confidantes. Home is cold, dark, dangerous, a place for sneaking and hiding. Parents are a menacing force to be kept at arm’s length.

The inherent sickness of this disgusting, groomer-adjacent worldview cannot be exaggerated. You are a danger to children, a threat to California families, and a pedophile’s wet dream of a prosecutor. I will do everything I can to make sure you never hold elected office again. I urge you to resign immediately.
