We can finally start putting pieces together to get a whole picture, and what we can see at the end strikes me as incredibly good news about some incredibly dark developments.
Via a must-read post at Bad Cattitude, we learn today that the federal government paid comedians to sneer at social criminals:

This document describes a corporate-state propaganda partnership, full stop. CAA, UTA, WME, ABC, CBS, NBC, and on and on and on, were recruited by government to peddle a coordinated message. Media companies served as state instruments.
“Vaccine engagement package to all entertainment talent and management agencies.”
”Vaccine engagement package to all media companies and show producers.”
But then add the other pieces.
We know, through the work of journalists like Laura Dodsworth, that governments paid behavioral scientists to deliberately, calculatedly inculcate fear in the societies they allegedly serve. You soaked in it, in a landscape littered with signs warning you to be safe, which mean that they told you you weren’t. Every physical environment you entered, outside of your home (where the TV and the computer picked up the slack), told you to regard yourself as being in grave danger, all day and every day.
Hiking in the wilderness, I found trailside signs from the Forest Service warning me to look out for the virus. Danger! Danger! There’s no way to exaggerate the ubiquity of this messaging.
Meanwhile, alongside the government effort to get the vaccine expert Nicki Fucking Minaj to tell you to get your jab — ask me what I think of the formulation “the jab” — we now know that government was telling social media companies to silence critics and dissenters.
And then, finally, government took direct action against people who failed to comply with the fear-messaging.
So put all of that together:
Nearly everything you watched, read, and heard on every form of media pounded you with a coordinated, calculated message about fear and compliance.
Media was policed by government and corporations, working together to hide and remove critical discussion about that fear-messaging.
Every physical environment you entered pounded you with a coordinated, calculated message about fear and compliance.
If you failed to submit to this coordinated fear campaign, you risked arrest in public spaces.
Name a historical example of a more aggressive and thorough propaganda campaign. For ubiquity and intensity, I think we have examples that compare, but none that clearly top it.
Now. Here’s the result:
After nearly three years, one of the most aggressive propaganda campaigns in the history of the world has produced a population that sees the man behind the curtain and laughs at him. People were lied to and manipulated, at an extraordinary scale, and they noticed.
Take heart. Drive on.
And it just absolutely fucking enraged some of us- to the exclusion of any other reaction- from the very beginning.
THAT's something worth studying, if you ask me.
