The last time I got the “ohhhh where’s your MAAAAAASK” treatment was ten minutes ago, when I walked into this business in suburban Los Angeles without a mask:
Inside, everyone was wearing paper masks to stop the virus. Everyone. Year three.
And California’s AB 2098, which threatens to take medical licenses away from doctors who speak outside the Covid-19 “consensus,” was signed into law less than thirty days ago.
But Emily Oster wants an amnesty for all that ancient Covid stuff that happened, you know, way back in the past. It’s all over, now! Time to move on! Really, does anyone even remember all that old-timey whaddya call it from back in ye olden days of the pandemic? (What did you do in 2021, grandma?)
It’s like standing over the broken bodies in the crosswalk, with sirens beginning to sound in the distance, and saying that look, I used to be a reckless driver, back in the day, but I think the time has come to discuss forgiveness.
It takes balls, Emily Oster.
We don't allow people wearing masks into our businesses. We assume they are trying to steal things.
PS: I took a look at Emily Oster's ratio (comments to likes) was running at a 15:1 clip. She's getting the shellacking she deserves.
